This policy describes how SLC Meet generally handles personal information: what we may collect, why, who it may be shared with, and the choices available to you. Who we are, and who owns the data

SLC Meet is provided by SentryLink Comply ("we", "us"). It is a meeting and follow-up service for companies and associations.

Your company or association (your "organisation") decides to use SLC Meet and creates your account. Your organisation owns the information it puts into SLC Meet and is responsible for it. That includes having the right to share it with us and telling its people how it is used. We handle that information on your organisation’s behalf. If you have questions about how your organisation uses your information, please contact your organisation first.

By using SLC Meet, your organisation gives SentryLink Comply a standing permission, without needing to ask each time, to store, copy, back up, restore, process, analyse and access that information as needed to provide, operate, support, troubleshoot, maintain, secure and improve SLC Meet, to create anonymised statistics that do not identify any organisation or person, and to comply with the law.

For information people send us directly, for example through our "Book a meeting" page, we decide how it is used.

What we may collect

The information we collect may include:

  • Account details, such as your name (in English and Bangla), email address, phone number, job title, where you work in your organisation and who you report to.
  • Meeting content, such as agendas, minutes, decisions, action items, comments, approvals, attendance, chat messages, and files or evidence that people upload.
  • Recordings and transcripts, such as the audio and video of a meeting and the text made from it.
  • Information from guests and shared links, such as the name a guest enters to join a call.
  • Meeting requests sent through the "Book a meeting" page, such as name, organisation, email, phone number and topic.
  • Questions asked to the SLC Meet assistant and feedback given on its answers.
  • Technical information, such as sign-in times, IP address, browser and device type, and error logs.

How we use it

We may use information:

  • To provide and operate SLC Meet, for example running calls, preparing minutes, and sending invitations, reminders and minutes.
  • To support, troubleshoot, maintain, back up and improve SLC Meet.
  • To protect accounts, records and the service, and to prevent misuse.
  • To comply with the law and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
  • For other purposes your organisation instructs, or that are compatible with the purposes above.

We do not sell personal information.

AI features

SLC Meet may use automated tools and AI services to answer questions, explain information and draft minutes. Answers are based on the records held in SLC Meet and may sometimes be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Please check important information against the original record before relying on it. When AI services are used, the text needed for that task may be sent to an AI provider such as Google Gemini or Anthropic.

AI may prepare draft minutes, decisions and action items from a meeting. Drafts are meant to be reviewed by a person in your organisation before they are relied on. Your organisation is responsible for reviewing and approving its minutes, decisions and actions.

Recording and transcription

Your organisation decides whether and when meetings are recorded or transcribed. Your organisation is responsible for telling participants and getting any consent the law requires before recording or transcribing a meeting. SLC Meet may show a recording sign, but participants should not rely on it as their only notice. Recordings brought in from Google, Zoom or Microsoft Teams follow those services’ own notices and settings.

Who we may share it with

  • People in your organisation, according to the roles and permissions your organisation sets, and the participants and recipients chosen for each meeting.
  • Service providers that help us run SLC Meet, such as Supabase (database, sign-in and storage), Vercel (hosting), LiveKit (calls), Google Cloud (speech-to-text and storage), AssemblyAI (transcription), Google Gemini and Anthropic (AI), and email providers. The providers we use may change over time.
  • Other SentryLink Comply products: SLC EKOS, SLC Pulse, SLC Grow and SLC Connect share one sign-in with SLC Meet; and when a meeting belongs to another product, such as SLC Assure, its outcomes may be sent to that product.
  • Google, Zoom or Microsoft Teams, if your organisation’s administrator connects them.
  • Anyone you or your organisation choose to share with, for example by email or WhatsApp.
  • Authorities, advisers or others, where we believe it is required by law or needed to protect our rights, our users or the service.
  • A buyer or successor, if SentryLink Comply or SLC Meet is reorganised, merged or sold.

The phone apps

The Android and iPhone apps show the same SLC Meet service. They may ask for camera and microphone permission for features that need them, such as calls, voice typing or voice notes. You can allow or refuse, and change this at any time in your phone’s settings. Some features will not work without them. Files you download are saved on your phone in Downloads › SLC Meet.

Cookies and browser storage

SLC Meet uses cookies that are needed to keep you signed in, and may store some choices in your browser, such as your language.

Where it is stored and how it is protected

Information is stored with our service providers, whose servers may be outside Bangladesh. We use reasonable measures to protect it, such as encryption while it travels over the internet. We take reasonable steps to keep each organisation’s records separate, and access inside an organisation follows the roles it sets. Our authorised staff and service providers may access information when needed to provide support, troubleshoot, maintain and secure the service, investigate problems or misuse, handle emergencies, or comply with the law.

No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information.

How long we keep it

We keep information for as long as we consider it necessary to provide SLC Meet, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Your organisation may decide how long its meetings, minutes and recordings are kept.

If an organisation asks us to delete its information, we aim to do so within 90 days, except for information we need to keep for legal, security, dispute or backup reasons. Copies in backups may remain until the backups expire.

Your choices, and deleting your account

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may be able to ask to see, correct, download or delete your personal information.

Your organisation’s SLC Meet administrator can usually correct or remove your account. You can also email support@sentrylinkcomply.com from the email address of your account, with the subject "Delete my SLC Meet account" (or your request). We will review your request, may ask you to confirm your identity, and will respond within a reasonable time.

When your account is deleted, your sign-in and personal profile are removed. Because SLC Meet shares one sign-in with SLC EKOS, SLC Pulse, SLC Grow and SLC Connect, you will also lose access to those. We may keep information we need for legal, security or record-keeping reasons, and records your organisation keeps, such as approved minutes, may still show your name.

Children

SLC Meet is a workplace service and is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may change this policy at any time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed, and the version on this page applies from that date.
